Meaning & usage
からと言って follows a plain-form clause (including な-adjectives and nouns with だ) and means that just because the preceding statement is true, the conclusion in the following clause does not automatically follow. It often appears with phrases like わけではない or とは限らない, and だからと言って is a common set form.
