Meaning & usage

結果 is a noun meaning the outcome or result of something. It can stand alone as a noun (テスト結果) or work adverbially after の in the pattern 結果の/の結果 to show that something happened as a consequence, and it can also open a sentence as 結果、 meaning as a result.
