加えて (ete)

Meaning & usage

加えて means that something is added on top of what has already been mentioned. It follows a noun, usually with the particle に before it (これに加えて, 普通券に加えて), and works like a connective meaning "in addition" or "what's more". It is a written-style expression common in formal contexts.
