そこを (sokowo)

Meaning & usage

そこを combines the pronoun そこ with the particle を, and per its meaning it works as a connective meaning "but" or "in spite of that," picking up the previous statement and introducing something that runs against it. It follows the word そこ directly. In the examples it also appears in spatial uses, marking a place passed through or left.
