Meaning & usage
Noun + の中を describes movement through or within a space, crowd, or condition, such as 公園の中を or 雨の中を. It attaches to a noun with の, and 中を is followed by a motion verb like 歩く, 通る, or 流れる. The particle を marks the path traveled, so it is not used for staying in one place, where に or で would fit better.
