Meaning & usage
加えて means "in addition" or "what's more," and it adds one item or point on top of another. It follows a noun, usually with the particle に before it (これに加えて, 普通券に加えて), and can also start a clause to introduce extra information. Note that 加えて can also appear as the te-form of the verb 加える, meaning to inflict or add something, as in 危害を加えて.
