には (niha)

Meaning & usage

The particle には combines に with the topic marker は to mark a noun as the target or setting of what follows, often expressing purpose or judgment, as in 面接には役立った or 会話にはうんざり. It attaches directly to a noun, and the following phrase states something relevant to that noun.
