とも (tomo)

Meaning & usage

とも appears in the set phrases 少なくとも (at least) and 遅くとも (at the latest), which set a minimum or latest limit on a quantity or time. It follows the plain forms of 少ない and 遅い, and the phrases are common in both spoken and written Japanese.
