一切～ない expresses total negation like not at all, never, or by no means, and it stresses that there is zero amount or occurrence. It is placed before a negative predicate, as in 一切飲まない or 一切ない, and the clause must end in a negative form such as ない, ません, or ではない. It sounds strong and decisive, so it is common in denials, rules, and promises, and it cannot pair with an affirmative verb.
